UNDP’s mandate from United Nations and Niti Ayog is to support the states for implementing their SDG VISION 2030 by establishing and running SDG Coordination Centres.

On the 6th  of August 2018, UNDP signed an MOA with the Government of Haryana to help form the Sustainable Development Goal Coordination Centre with the Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute of Fiscal Management.

Located at Panchkula, Haryana, SDGCC’s role is to conceptualize and implement initiatives that help establish SDGs in Haryana.

In effect SDGCC is The Enabler.
